It all began in an old woman's warm kitchen.
Always believing in great quality ingredients, healthy local choices and that warmth and soul satisfying home-made quality, Jackie has brought all these elements into CMB Catering.
She has successfully owned and operated CMB Catering since 2006.
CMB Catering is dedicated to Jackie's grandmother, Jean Hodgson.
However, nobody knew her by that name. Nick-named Mommy-Bleu (from the song Mammy Blue) this name stuck as everyone affectionately knew this beautiful grandmother as "Mommy-Bleu".
When Jackie's grandmother's passed away, she decided to name her company after this matriarch, and thus was born La Cuisinette de Mommy Bleu ("The Kitchen of Mommy Blue"), later simplified to CMB Catering.
CMB Catering takes the spirit of her grandmother's home-made cooked meals - the warmth and home-feeling that these tastes and aromas instill, and brings them to the corporate world.

Beginning working in restaurant kitchens at a young age, Jackie worked through various locations as line cooks, head cook & Catering Manager.
Prior to catering to the Kanata North Innovation High-Tech Sector she provided private parties, wedding, and catering events.
